Do I need a server?

If you have 2 or more users on your network, you could probably benefit from a small server. 

If you have 4 or more users, you should definitely consider having a server-based network. 

What can a server do for me?

There are several advantages to a server, including:

  • Sharing Files is straight forward
  • Backups are more reliable and verifiable
  • Security is tighter and easier to manage

In addition, servers can do more than just share files, including:

  • Printer and Fax Sharing
  • Antivirus/Antispyware Duties
  • Web/Email Services
  • Voice and Telephony Functions
  • User Control and Remote Access
