Note: Some systems may have firewall or security settings that must be configured in advance to allow Remote Service.  In some cases this can be done via telephone.  More complex networks may require "Pre-Configuration Service" ($50 + Travel).

What is Remote Service?

Remote Service allows a Tyber Tech to interact with the customer and their PC via the Internet. 

This is particularly handy, and economical, for minor issues such as printer, network and software adjustments, or simply demonstrating how to do something.

Are there any Special Requirements?

You'll need Microsoft Windows XP (Home, Pro or Media Center).

You'll also need a functioning computer with properly configured Internet connection.  If your computer or Internet has crashed, you'll need On-site or Carry-in Service instead.
